During the Pebble Beach event, the participants had the opportunity to see the new Phantom Coupe Aviator signed by Rolls-Royce. This stunning car was inspired by the aerospace industry because the car manufacturer has an aviation history. In fact this model was manufactured to celebrate the Supermarine S6B which was equipped with a Rolls-Royce R Type engine between 1930 and 1940.
The Phantom Coupe Aviator catches your attention with an elegant design and its gray exterior color, matte hood and front grille. By stepping inside the car, you will be able to find out what luxury means. The cabin looks stylish and is enriched with high quality wood and metal which surround the dashboard and the car’s doors. You will also notice a Thommen aviation-style clock, a speedometer and fuel gauges which have a matte black finish. The stylish mahogany details are all handmade while the stainless steel accents complement the floor mats.
Under the hood, this Rolls-Royce hosts a V12 engine with a capacity of 6.75 liters which is able to deliver 453 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. This car is also equipped with a six-speed transmission and an aluminum transmission tunnel which reminds of the S6B fuselage because of the exposed torx bolts. According to some Rolls-Royce officials, the Phantom Coupe Aviator will be manufactured in only 35 units. Unfortunately, the company didn’t announce a price tag for this car, but we can assume that will be more expensive than the basic Phantom Coupe version which costs $480,000.
