A New Toyota In India: The Toyota Camry

Toyota, one of the leading car manufacturers, is ready to launch in August of 2012 the new Toyota Camry on the Indian market. The Toyota Camry is one of the best selling cars in the world and will now be available for all Indian customers. For those who didn’t know I must mention that Toyota already has two manufacturing plants in India which build and assemble other Toyota cars such as the Corolla Altis, the Etios and the Innova. Soon, the production of the new Toyota Camry is also expected to start.

But let’s find out more about the new Toyota Camry. This car is a midsize vehicle that offers high quality interior, great performance and excellent fuel economy. It impresses with a roomy interior equipped with everything you need and a redesigned exterior which still follows the conservative look of the 2011 version. This car will be available in two engine versions for all Indian customers. The first version is powered by a 2.5-liter engine with four cylinders able to produce up to 178 BHP and 230Nm of torque. Because of this engine the fuel efficiency is of 10.63 km/l in the city and up to 14.88 km/l on the highway. The second version comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine able to deliver 268 horsepower and a torque of 336Nm. The Toyota Camry also features traction control, brake assistant and anti-lock braking system.

Thanks to its roomy interior, its fuel efficiency and its price between $22,055 and $30,115, the Camry is definitely worth your attention.
