While I’m not a big fan of the Nissan Juke due to its weird styling, I have to admit that the hot Juke-R version is kind of cool. We have good news for those of you who were hoping that Nissan put this concept into production. The Japanese carmaker said that the Juke-R is going into a “very limited run” production. This decision comes after the car has received a strong feedback, and up until now three people have ordered one, with two of them coming from Dubai (where else?).
The Nissan Juke-R concept was shown for the first time back in January in Dubai and it is a car that is using a gear from the 2010 GT-R. The concept was updated to use all of the goodies of the 2012 GT-R and it is motivated by a V6 3.8-liter turbocharged engine that delivers no less than 545 hp. Thanks to this engine, the Juke-R is able to hit a top speed of 160 mph.
Nissan mentioned that the cars are going to be built upon request and those who want it will be able to place an order in the next four weeks. No word about the price tag of the car but most likely it costs more than $100,000.
