Jeep has developed special editions for the Compass and the Wrangler models. The Compass Black Edition features glossy black accents for the front grille inserts, 18-inch alloy wheels, step pads, roof rails, fog lamp and headlamp surrounds. This special edition is powered by a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine that generates 161 hp and a peak torque of 236 lb.-ft which will send the power to all four wheels.
The Jeep Wrangler Mountain is based on the Sport trim line and will be sold as a 2-door or a 4-door version. On the outside we notice the Mountain decal sitting on the bonnet, along with a front gray grille and 17-inch alloys which have a high-gloss gray finish. This model also comes with side steps, while the fuel-filler cover has a black look and comes from Mopar. Inside it gets a steering wheel wrapped around in leather which features integrated controls, while the floor mats are provided by Mopar.
This special edition of the Wrangler will be available with a new Gecko Green color finish, while the fabric seats feature the Mountain logo. Clients can get the Wrangler with either a 2.8-liter turbodiesel power unit or a V6 3.6-liter gasoline engine. The latter is mated exclusively to an automatic transmission, while the diesel engine can get either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic unit.
