The Fisker Atlantic concept was introduced at the New York Auto Show but the company was a bit shy when asked about details about the car. However, now we have fresh details about the car as InsideEVs managed to grab some documents about the upcoming model.
It seems that the Atlantic is going to be motivated by a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and will have an electric drivetrain, generating a total output of about 300 hp (304 PS / 224 kW), allowing the vehicle to do the 0-62 mph sprint in 6.5 seconds while CO2 emissions should be of somewhere around 50 g/km.
The same documents are saying that the price tag of the car will be higher than originally estimated and we should expect a price tag of somewhere around $50,000 and $60,000. Another bad news is that the launch of the Fisker Atlantic might be postponed until 2014 mostly because the access to a government loan has been blocked by the United States Department of Energy.
