Fiat Linea Gets A Facelift

The Fiat Linea is a car designed for developing economies such as the ones in Brazil, India or Turkey. The car is based on an extended version of the company’s Grande Punto platform and it has been on sale since 2007. The Italian carmaker has unveiled a few days ago a mild update for the model which at least in the Turkish market is going to be offered alongside with the old version.

The new model is known as the Yeni Linea, while its predecessor wears the Classic Linea moniker. The grille and the bumper designs have received a few updates, while at the car’s rear end we notice the new shape of the bumper that adopts generous chrome trims, as well as a black lower section.

Inside the cabin of the Yeni Linea we notice that the dashboard has been redesigned and it comes with a couple of instrument gauges that have been deeply set in, while the center console is now different, featuring new controls for the air conditioning system and the audio system as well.

For the Turkish market, this facelifted Linea is sold with a choice of three power units, including a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 77 hp, a 1.3-liter turbodiesel with 95 hp and a beefier 1.6-liter turbodiesel that pumps out 105 hp.
