The Bugatti 16C Galibier Is Back In The Spotlight

In 2009, the Bugatti 16C Galibier concept car was revealed for the first time as the second model of the Bugatti lineup. This car is a four door sedan designed to impress with its exterior design and a performance comparable to that of the Veyron.

This Bugatti catches your attention with a stylish exterior design and large LED headlights that flank the radiator grille. The side doors and the wings are made of aluminum while the rest of the car is made of carbon fiber. At the rear you will notice four exhaust tailpipes placed on each side of the car. By stepping inside the car you will be impressed by the high quality materials used to adorn the cabin. The comfortable seats are made of high quality leather as well as the surfboard-style dashboard which also features wood accents. You will also notice a large LCD screen and a removable reverso Tourbillon Swiss clock.

Under the hood, this gorgeous 4-door Bugatti hosts a W16 flex-fuel engine with a capacity of 8 liters that will be able to deliver more than 1,000bph according with Wolfgang Durheimer, Bugatti’s CEO. As a result, the Bugatti 16C Galibier will be able to achieve up to 378 km/h which is pretty good for any adrenaline addict. This car will also be equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. If Bugatti follows the Veyron example, it will manufacture this new car in a limited edition of only 300 units. The price of this 4-door sedan is expected to be around $1,300,000 but the car won’t make it on the market until 2015.
