Acura has revealed the pricing list for the upcoming 2013 ILX model which is going to be available starting with next month. The entry-level model will set you back $25,900 and comes with a passive entry system, power moonroof and a push button ignition. Inside the cabin we notice the Pandora internet radio as well as Bluetooth connectivity.
For $3,300 more you can opt for the premium package which brings heated front seats, leather upholstery and a powerful 360-watt sound system. Aside from these goodies, it packs 17-inch alloys, a rearview camera and HID headlights.
Under the bonnet it has a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine that can deliver 150 hp (152 PS / 112 kW) and a peak torque of 140 lb.-ft (190 Nm). This power unit is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox that enables the ILX to return 24 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, EPA estimated.
As for the $28,900 Acura ILX Hybrid, this combines a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter with an electric motor for a total output of 111 hp (113 PS / 83 kW) and 127 lb.-ft (172 Nm) of torque. This version of the 2013 ILX should be able to return 39 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
Also available is a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine which produces 201 hp (204 PS / 150 kW) and a maximum torque of 170 lb.-ft (230 Nm). Fitted with this engine, the 2013 Acura ILX costs $29,200 and it includes the premium package and has a 6-speed manual gearbox.
