The Japanese automaker Honda has introduced a new version of the Crosstour model by launching a two-wheel drive, four-cylinder model which has a base price of $28,465 (including taxes and fees). This means that this less powerful model is $2,685 more affordable than the V6-powered version.
Under its hood there’s a 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine that churns 192 hp and is linked to a 5-speed automatic gearbox as standard, managing to deliver 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which is 3 mpg and 2 mpg respectively better than the V6 version.
Honda has also mentioned that the Crosstour will be getting more goodies as standard package, including here a rearview mirror back-up camera display, auto dimming rearview mirror, USB audio interface, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and auto on/off headlights.
