Honda has introduced last week at the New York Auto Show the 2013 Crosstour concept which previews the production version of the next-gen model. It adopts a similar styling with that big front grille, plastic body cladding and the sporty front bumper. The concept also features a revised tailgate, a bulging hood and it rides on 19-inch alloys.
The production version of the Crosstour is scheduled to go on sale this fall and it is going to be available with a choice of two engines. The first one is a 4-cylinder, 2.4-liter that produces 192 hp (195 PS /143 kW) and an updated V6 3.5-liter that Honda says it has been reengineered and it’s also more powerful.
The car is going to be available with a Forward Collision Warning system, a Lane Departure Warning system and also a LaneWatch blind spot monitoring system. The 2013 Honda Crosstour can also feature Pandora internet radio interface, a navigation system as well as a useful SMS text-to-speech function.
No word at the moment about the price tag of the production version.
